Celebrating a man’s connection to earth, the collection of all-natural skincare products is housed in limited edition packaging that features a hallmark painting by M. Sarian
Armenian-based brand of locally sourced natural skincare is proud to present its first all-natural grooming solution for men. Rooted in botanical science, each Nairian MAN product is based on an innovative formula, ensuring the health of one’s skin and hair, which is the company’s highest priority. The products’ zesty natural scents evoke a man’s connection with the earth while giving an energy boost for a day full of adventure.
“Nairian MAN is powered by organic ingredients,” states Anahit Markosian, Nairian’s founder and head of R&D. “We extract them from plants grown on our organic farm at the foot of Armenia’s legendary Mount Ara. Combined with Vitamin B5, Allantoin, Jojoba Oil, and other beneficial ingredients, they keep your skin and hair looking and feeling healthy.”
An all-natural grooming solution
The collection includes Aftershave Spray ($39), Aftershave Lotion ($41), Beard Oil ($35), traditional liquid Shampoo ($24) and a solid Shampoo Bar ($14). All-natural Shaving Cream will complete the collection later this year.
The Aftershave Spray contains Calendula extract and Aloe Vera which soothe and calm nicks or cuts. Rose Hydrosol and Allantoin keep the skin soft and hydrated. This handcrafted formula is ideal for all skin types, while its refreshing citrus woody scent of Sweet Orange, Bergamot and Sandalwood essential oils is a pleasure for one’s senses.
Alcohol-free Aftershave Lotion helps lock moisture to prevent dryness and redness that often occur after shaving. This formula is rich in Vitamin B5 and Allantoin which help keep the skin soft, smooth, and healthy, while Quinoa Protein deeply moisturizes it and helps prevent wrinkles. The additional protective properties of Chamomile Hydrosol and Bergamot Essential Oil make this product a perfect final touch to one’s regular shaving ritual.
The Beard Oil contains a powerful combination of Jojoba, Apricot and Castor oils which treats dry beards, softens the hairs, and restores their sheen. A blend of Grapefruit, Cedarwood and Vetiver invigorates the senses.
The invigorating Shampoo is formulated with Hops Extract, which helps fight hair loss, promote shine, and reduce scalp itchiness, and Monarda Essential Oil, which is known for its antibacterial properties. A dash of Caffeine helps increase blood circulation to hair follicles, giving your mane a thicker, more voluminous look. Sweet Orange, Coriander, and Black Pepper Essential Oils transform your daily shower into a sensory experience.
The Shampoo Bar ditches unnecessary liquid to reduce water use during production. This conscious product contains a blend of Jojoba oil, Nettle and Calendula extracts that soothe and balance, keeping one’s hair voluminous, and one’s scalp healthy. A few drops of Spearmint Essential Oil provide a pleasant cooling sensation. It is a perfect product for those on the go.
As always, every Nairian product is all natural, non-toxic, free of sulfates, parabens, silicones, phthalates, formaldehyde donors, synthetic fragrances, dyes, and other harmful chemicals.
A special design collaboration with Martiros Sarian House-Museum
Nairian MAN marks the beginning of a collaboration with renowned Armenian artists. It is a natural gesture for the Armenian-based brand to celebrate their unique vision and eagerly share it with customers who are looking for something more elevated than simply effective skincare.
The packaging of every Nairian MAN product features a segment of M. Sarian’s hallmark painting The Earth. In 1969 the world-renowned Armenian colorist expressed love for his land through generous brush strokes of ochre, terracotta, and artichoke—colors of the sun-kissed stones, fertile soil, and gentle plants that can be found throughout Armenia. Painted three years before the artist’s passing, this painting is a steadfast reminder of what transcends humanity.
“Sarian’s The Earth is highly symbolic for Nairian,” admits Bogdan Zyryanov, Nairian’s Chief Creative Officer. “Firstly, it describes human strength, the way humanity conquered the cosmos and demonstrated that sheer willpower can overcome even the force of gravity. Secondly, it serves as a reminder that our planet is the only home we have and must share with many other living beings. Only a culture of caring for the environment will help save the Earth for future generations. And finally, it embodies everything that Nairian is today. It is respect and love for people, nature, and all little things that grow. We carefully borrow the best from Armenia’s nature and, with the help of modern scientific methods, transform it into completely natural cosmetics that are in harmony with beauty and health.”
Nairian extends sincere gratitude to the Sarian family for making this collaboration possible.
About Nairian
In 2014, Nairian was founded by a family and has grown into a flourishing business focused on creating locally sourced natural skincare with organic ingredients and ethical production. With each product, Nairian delivers a handcrafted recipe made from all-natural and plant-based ingredients, 70% of which come from within a 60 mi radius of the company’s facilities located in the Aragyugh village in central Armenia. Nairian employs a diverse team of workers who harvest plants at an eco-farm that sits on the eastern slope of Mount Ara at an altitude of 5250 ft. The company supports rural and vulnerable communities in Armenia and collaborates with research labs and universities to promote production, science, and research in the fields of aromatherapy and cosmetics.
About Martiros Sarian and his House-Museum
Martiros Sarian (1880–1972) was one of the greatest painters of the 20th century. An outstanding colorist, he founded the modern Armenian school of painting known today.
The House-Museum was built in Yerevan by special order of Armenian government and open on November 26, 1967 during the Master’s lifetime. The museum building consists of a two-story mansion where the artist lived and worked in 1932–1972 and attached to it a three-story gallery built in 1967. The author of the house’s project was Alexander Tamanian—the eminent architect of Yerevan. The museum part was designed by Mark Grigorian. The core of the house-museum’s fund contains Sarian’s 50 works he had donated himself.
