The herbaceous essential oil of the tagetes flower has odor fighting capabilities, and can also soften corns, calluses, and bunions. This is the second flower grown on our farm that is occasionally known as marigold, with the other being calendula.
Tagetes has very powerful anti-fungal properties, such that our agricultural team uses the hydrosol left after the distillation of the essential oil as a treatment for our apple trees, avoiding using any synthetic treatment.
