Hyaluronic acid is the most powerful moisture-binding ingredient used in cosmetics. By binding moisture to the skin this ingredient combats dehydration, and rapidly improves the appearance of aged, sensitive, or dull skin. It is wonderful for all skin types.

    Source
Hyaluronic acid is a molecule that naturally occurs in the human body. However, as our skin ages it produces less and less of it, which is also tied to the appearance of fine lines, and the loss of luminosity.

The hyaluronic acid we use at Nairian is brought in from the United States. It is made through the biofermentation of yeast, glucose, and salts, so it is 100% vegan.

    Skin Benefits
By radically hydrating the skin, hyaluronic acid is able to combat everything from sensitivity to premature signs of aging. Hyaluronic acid improves hydration because it is able to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water. When it is applied to the skin, especially in a formula that also prevents moisture loss, its ability to moisturize and hydrate is remarkable. Because of these hydrating properties, the skin instantly appears brighter, smoother, and younger. Over time hyaluronic acid can inhibit redness and irritation, because red, sensitive skin is usually exacerbated by dehydration.

For oily and acne-prone skin types, dehydration is prevalent and often much harder to treat, because many products that treat acne exacerbate dehydration. Hyaluronic acid, however, is able to counteract that, without causing breakouts or even introducing more oil to the skin.
